Usually resigned to conduct their business dealings free from government interference, these individuals are now begging for assistance in the form of bailouts and new regulations. The business man wants a world that is materially predictable, but he can only see into the next fiscal cycle. The very economic terms used today to conceptualize and discuss wealth avoid what really wealth is. GDP is not food that is traditional and nutrititive. The destruction of families has been caused by the greed of the establishment that saw a profit to be made with the additional labor force of women under the pretense of equality. The destruction of the family, however will bring in the long run more economic ills yet to be fully seen although by then the wealthy have amassed fortunes.
